The religious education and spiritual development of the students at MSJA takes a three-fold approach. Daily classroom prayer and regular school-wide liturgies and prayer services establish an atmosphere of spirituality at The Mount.

School-wide and individual class service opportunities provide concrete means of putting faith into action. These are an integral part of the total religious education program.

Classroom instruction follows the guidelines of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo and utilizes the Loyola Press series, Christ Our Life. This focus on prayer, service and instruction assists the family in the religious and spiritual development of their child.

The moral and character development of the children at MSJA is a significant part of the school’s culture and is not limited to Religion Class.
